Project Name: Upper West Side Apartment 3, New York, NY
Area: 1,050 SF
The renovation of this two-bedroom apartment entirely reorganized its interior spaces and adjacencies. The living room and kitchen were relocated to the south side of the apartment, to emphasize light and exterior views. The master bedroom was relocated to the rear of the apartment, to take advantage of courtyard views and quieter acoustics.
The design and details are executed in the style of Arts and Crafts. Rift oak wall panels and recessed panel doors, as well as arched openings and stone floors, contribute to this aesthetic.
