Project Name: House Renovation/Addition – East Hampton, NY
Area: 2,800 SF
The client wished to transform an existing house and guesthouse into a well-appointed retreat in a vernacular style. The existing structure was gutted down to its structural components. The central living area living room, sun room, and dining room were renovated. An addition was created to facilitate the new kitchen. Flanked with windows, this room brings the beautifully landscaped rear yard into the house. Two full bedrooms and bathrooms were created, and a third new bedroom and full bathroom were created in the guesthouse. The roof was re-shingled and the exterior walls clad with cedar shakes. New windows were installed throughout.
