Project Name: Townhouse Renovation – Park Slope, Brooklyn, NY
Area: 2,700 SF
This project involved renovating of a single family townhouse. The parlor was expanded with the removal of a wall dividing it from an adjacent hallway. The room was then treated with whitewash, and a new millwork surround was designed for the hearth. A new stair leads to the second floor, which includes two new bedrooms and a bathroom. Existing skylights have been refurbished, flooding the second level with light. New custom book shelves double as a stair/ladder to the roof, replacing the former scuttle. The front façade has been cleaned and refurbished with a new front door and surround. A new ductless central air system contributes to overall comfort and functionality.
